Musical Theatre Two is structured for elementary schoolers with a passion for performing! Throughout the duration of this class we will learn basic stage directions and choreography, beginners music theory and how to memorize lyrics, and action to thought connective acting techniques. Proficient reading skills required in order to take this class.
Students will learn two songs that will be performed at the end of our eight week course.
In this class student will practice:
Stage Directions
Basic Choreography
Basic Music Theory/ Learning words (must be able to read)
Action to thought connective acting technique

Courtney Gates
An Albuquerque NM native, Courtney Gates' passion for performing began as a young child as she began studying and performing, becoming very active in local theatre, music, and dance programs. In 2017 she graduated with a degree in Musical Theatre from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City where she lived and worked in film and theatre until 2020. Courtney is currently located in Albuquerque NM and is represented by Mitchell Talent. She is a lyric soprano/ mezzo soprano, with Training in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Musical Theatre. Courtney will be available for private vocal coaching
